Paint in the Vineyards
Located about 45 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, the Santa Ynez Valley is home to some of the most beautiful vistas, world-renowned vineyards, and world-class wines in California. We invite you to join us, grab a glass of wine and a paintbrush, and meet us in the vineyard for an unforgettable event. Whether you're here in "the Valley" or driving up from Santa Barbara for the day, we promise you an experience like no other that engages all of your senses.
Art Classes
We now offer adult art painting classes in our Art Spot Studio on Alisal in Solvang. Classes are designed for beginners to “I’ve dabbled before” painters. These classes will equip you with basic techniques, fundamentals of composition and color theory. Students choose their subject matter and will create their painting with focused instruction and guidance from our trained artist. Open Studio
Designed as a workspace for everyone who enjoys making art. Bring your favorite supplies with you–be it watercolor, acrylic, pastel, pencil, charcoal etc–and work on what you’d like to work on. Our artist will be coming around to everyone throughout the class to give feedback and constructive advice/guidance. *Supplies will be available for purchase or rent should you need them.
Paint & Sip in Solvang
Meet new friends and join us for a fun night of learning to paint a new subject while sipping on your drink of choice (BYOB).
Don’t consider yourself an artist just yet? Don’t worry. Our trained artist will walk you through the entire painting process step-by-step. No previous painting experience necessary. You’ll be amazed at what you can create in just a few hours- even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush in your life!
Private Art Classes & Courses
Art Spot now offers private lessons and painting courses in acrylic, watercolor and mixed media. Gather a group of 5 or more friends and host your own private 6-week art class OR sign up for private lessons at our Solvang studio? We can also do private Paint in the Vineyard events for you and your friends, or we can come to you! Christi’s hourly rate is $85. Daytime and evening availability.
