Private Painting Event

Are you looking for a great way to connect with your family & friends or for a corporate team building event? Look no further! Painting parties are always a huge hit! Put a creative twist on your next get-together and there’s even a built-in party favor to commemorate the occasion. We offer events at our studio in Solvang, at your location, at a location of your choosing or in the vines (see Painting in the Vineyard). Please note: we can only accommodate a maximum of 20 people at the studio.

We can paint your view, paint from a painting, do a watercolor event or even a custom painting that is special to your or your group. We’ll provide all of the supplies for the painting (table covers, easels, canvas, paint, brushes, palettes and water glasses)—all you have to supply is any food or drink you’d like to provide for your guests.

Painting time is typically around 2.5 hours (depending on the type of event) and if it’s at your place, we’ll come early to set up and stick around to help with cleanup. All of our paint is non-toxic and water-based, so nothing to worry about there.

$250 non-refundable deposit holds the date. Travel fee may apply. Cancellation is required 10 days prior to the event.

Koehler Winery sits on a spectacularly beautiful 100 acre estate, surrounded by rolling hills and a small riparian stream that gently nestles its way throughout the property. The estate’s storied history includes ownership by one of the most successful television producers in history, renowned for such iconic shows as The Love Boat, Dynasty and Wonder Woman. It was during this period over 40 years ago that the vineyard was expanded to its current sixty-seven acres. By the time the property was acquired by the Koehler family in 1997, the estate’s bountiful vines and superb fruit were documented as among the best in the famed Santa Ynez Valley. Once the Koehlers recognized that some of the best wines in the valley were being produced with grapes harvested from their vineyards, they resolved to launch their own winery and tasting room. Drawing on their own entrepreneurial experience, the Koehler’s mission was to create a world-class winery committed to making premium wines at affordable prices.
