Open Studio

Our studio offers an open canvas of opportunities for all levels of art-makers. All you need to bring is your unique self and a spirit for creating. Make an appointment, drop in, take a class, or even sign up as a member for easy access whenever creativity strikes. You will experience an open and inviting environment, assistance and encouragement as needed from a Gypsy Studios artist as well as access to supplies for your project. All humans of all ages are welcome here. Start art-ing for the first time, or hone your craft. The Gypsy Studios Art Spot is a safe space for all levels of interest and skill.

CHOOSE FROM OUR 2 OPEN STUDIO OPTIONS:

1. PROJECT-BASED OPEN STUDIO

• Drop in and select an art project to work on in-studio from our various “ready to create” options. Choose from “paint your own” bisque-ware and wooden products, sculpting, weaving or for those under 12, enjoy a kids weekly art project and more. You pay the studio fee plus the cost of the project or materials you choose. The studio fee covers the cost of paint, supplies and the space you’ll need to create your project.
  • *$8 kids 12 and under; plus the cost of project or piece you choose to purchase
  • *$10 adults; plus the cost of project or piece you choose to purchase
  • (Studio fee always waived for members)

* covers use of supplies (brushes, easels-standing and table top, water jars, aprons)

2. DROP-IN STUDIO DAY USE

• Drop in for a space to paint, draw, sculpt or get inspired by other artists. Day use give you the ability to come and go as you please and use our *materials and supplies or your own. We have a studio assistant who will be available for light instruction and guidance as needed.
  • $25 Day Use Fee for unlimited access on the day you choose
  • Use of supplies (brushes, easels-standing and table top, water jars, aprons)
  • *Select materials (1 canvas board or student grade acrylic paint or 2 watercolor papers & watercolor paints or 2 drawing papers & drawing pencils/erasers or a measured clay portion and ceramic tools)
  • Option to bring your own materials

Tuesday: 3pm-7pm
Wednesday: 10am-7pm
Thursday: 10am-7pm
Friday: 10am-6pm
Saturday: 10am-3pm
