A little note & family update from us…
When Maria and I opened the studio our biggest goal and purpose was to create COMMUNITY. We want to get back to that now that we’re finally coming out of the COVID fog. A few months ago we were thrown a bit of a curveball in our personal life and have found it really difficult to operate business as usual. We were given the surprise of a lifetime and had the privilege of opening our hearts and our home to our daughter’s newborn twin brothers, quite unexpectedly. So, as you can imagine, that has been all consuming and a bit overwhelming as our family of 3 expanded to a family of 5 overnight. As we come up for air, we are taking a minute to reflect on our business and remember why we opened the studio in the first place. What we realized was that, ultimately, our biggest goal is to build community and create a space for all of us to be enriched by art. Our aim is to make art instruction as accessible as possible and, hopefully, in the process, introduce more of our Valley residents to the studio. As far as we’re concerned–the more people making art the better! As a result of those conversations came a few different offerings that we want to share with you.
We’ve made it our goal is to offer the following once a month:
- $15 drop-in classes to anyone 16 and older–work on whatever you’d like–bring your own art supplies or purchase/rent supplies at the studio that night. Reservations are required as space will be limited. (starting in November)
- $45 Paint and Sip nights–all supplies included. BYOB (starting in November)
- A kids art class for $15, ages 7-12 (starting in January)
And, the following once a quarter:
- $15 Kids art class for ages 5-7
- $20 Toddler art playtimes for ages walking–4
We have dates on the calendar through the end of the year and are beginning to plan next year, so stay tuned! Please scroll down to see the dates and sign up! 🙂 |
