With some of the most sweeping views in the Santa Barbara wine country, Kalyra Winery offers a laid-back beachcomber’s vibe to its tasting room and gift shop. You’ll be served from the bar featured in the ‘Sideways’ movie, and enjoy browsing the extensive Kalyra Boutique, located next to the tasting bar. Its full-length deck and side lawn offer a fantastic, tranquil picnic spot for your full tasting day as well.

We host seated tastings of our Sta Rita Hills estate chardonnay and pinot noir by appointment in our gorgeous green kitchen at our Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified winery.  If your group is interested we would love to tour our production area and/or walk out to the Sun pinot noir block of our Sustainability in Practice (SIP) certified vineyard.  We also have two outside shaded tables if your group would prefer to taste outside or bring out snacks or lunch to enjoy after tasting.

The Brander Vineyard is located in Los Olivos just off Highway 154.

We are situated roughly 35 minutes north of Santa Barbara, 130 miles north of Los Angeles, and 300 miles south of San Francisco.

We offer a shaded courtyard and deck for picnics, wine tasting, and just enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

From the south:

Highway 101 north to the Highway 154/San Marcos Pass Road exit. Proceed 27.5 miles north on Highway 154, then turn right onto Roblar Avenue.  Immediately turn left onto North Refugio Road, and proceed one-half mile. The entrance to our vineyard and tasting room will be on your left, at 2401 North Refugio Road.

From the north:

Highway 101 south to the Highway 154/San Marcos Pass Road exit. Turn left onto Highway 154/San Marcos Pass Road, and proceed 5.0 miles, then turn left onto Roblar Avenue. Immediately turn left onto North Refugio Road, and proceed one-half mile. The entrance to our vineyard and tasting room will be on your left, at 2401 North Refugio Road.
